John has 8 years of experience in financial services, discovering a second career after 25 years of teaching and coaching at the secondary level. While developing a curriculum for and teaching Financial Literacy and Economics, John discovered a passion for helping people manage their finances and plan for the future. Recognizing the importance of the concepts he was teaching, John led the adoption of this course as a graduation requirement for all students. An educator at heart, John brings a service-mentality to his approach, as he guides his clients and seeks to ensure they have the information needed to make informed decisions.

John is a graduate of Shippensburg University and holds a master’s degree from Penn State University. He and his wife Barb have three adult daughters, and enjoy traveling and spending time with friends. In his free time, you can find John engaged in some type of fitness activity or a home improvement project.
